According to multiple sources, including [a136621]'s memoir Neon Angel and the liner notes of the [l34078] release of this first album in 2008, [a16655] bassist [a422778] was hired to play bass on the first album of The Runaways due to [a58690]'s refusal to let [a701897] (real name Jacqueline Fuchs) play on the record. Fuchs confirms this.
