The Story

Sinatra's fourth Capitol studio album, and 10th overall, recorded in mono on October 17, 1955, and January 9, 10, 12, 16, 1956, at Capitol's Melrose studio A, Los Angeles, California. Originally released in March 1956 as a 15-track album, reissued in 1962 abridged to 12 songs, and also reissued as "Duophonic" (reprocessed) versions.

Initial versions of the album cover artwork feature a slightly dazed looking Sinatra gazing off to the left. Later versions feature Frank looking to the right in the direction of the swingin' lovers.

Producer [a=Voyle Gilmore] is credited on later reissues, but not initial issues.
