Livin' On Love

Livin' on love is the third album by Dutch singer Ilse DeLange, and her second studio album. For her second studio album Livin' on Love, Ilse went back to America, where World of Hurt was also recorded in 1998. While World of Hurt was still quite country, with Livin' on Love she went more towards pop/rock. The album reached a respectable fifth position in the album charts, and achieved a platinum record. In October 2000, the single of the same name was released, which did not get further than the 37th place in the Dutch Top 40, and the 44th place in the Single Top 100. In early 2001, a second single was released, I Still Cry, but it did not get into the Top 40 and reached the 70th position in the Single Top 100. In 2001, DeLange went on tour through the Netherlands, the Living On Love Tour visited all the well-known Dutch stages. She tried to break through in America with the album, but in the end the record companies did not dare to release her music, after which she decided to focus entirely on the Netherlands. In 2014 the album was re-released, this time on vinyl on the label Music On Vinyl. The first 500 copies were released on numbered, 180 gram white vinyl.
