It is widely known, despite its omission on the release, that Rita Coolidge wrote the instrumental coda to the song "Layla" (she was with her then-boyfriend Jim Gordon). In her autobiography, she states she still has never been credited nor paid for this wonderful piano arrangement that she composed.
